Simply Seaweed is a dental supplement for dogs and cats. It is 100% Ascophyllum nodosum, a species of seaweed that may help with:

  • Dental maintenance
  • Prevention of dental disease
  • Prevention, reduction and removal of plaque
  • Prevention of calculus (tartar)
  • Reduction or elimination of halitosis (bad breath)
  • Stain removal and whitening of teeth

How it works:

After being consumed by your pet, Ascophyllum nodosum works in several ways to improve dental hygiene, due to its natural antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-adhesive properties. Existing plaque is softened and new plaque is prevented from sticking to teeth.

Simply Seaweed is typically administered to a dog by sprinkling it over their regular food. It usually comes in a powdered form made from dried Ascophyllum nodosum, a type of seaweed.

Steps:

  1. Check the dosage based on your dog's weight (refer to the product label).

  2. Measure the correct amount of the powder.

  3. Sprinkle it on your dog’s food once daily.

  4. Mix it in if needed, especially if your dog is picky.

💡 Note: It’s mainly used to support dental health by reducing plaque and bad breath. Always consult your vet before starting a new supplement.

In addition to adding it to food, some pet owners choose to:

  • Mix the powder with a little water to form a paste.

  • Apply the paste to the dog’s teeth or gums using a toothbrush or finger brush.

100% certified organic Ascophyllum nodosum – no fillers, preservatives, colourings, flavourings or additives!
